Our professionally converted van will park safely at your address, where equipment will be ready and set to suit our clients needs on the day. Owners are encouraged to ask any questions they may have and our more than welcome to see the van. We want you to feel reassured that your dog is being looked after and enjoying their makeover.  

As part of Jonty’s final year at Hartpury University, he undertook a dissertation focusing on whether dog appeasing pheromones (DAP) create a positive impact on canine behaviour and reduce stress levels in a dog grooming facility. Pheromones are naturally produced substances that cause influence on species behaviour and communication through olfactory means. These products are composed of a synthetic makeup that produce fatty acids and plant derived extracts (magnolia officinalis) to replicate natural pheromones formed by a lactating bitch in their sebaceous glands after birth to reassure their young. From their formulation of natural chemicals, pheromones are utilised in regulating responses expressed by canines to diminish stress, anxiety and cause an effect of relaxation.  

Through Jonty’s research and provided access to clinical trials, DAP has shown positive results to help reduce canine stress in environments where anxiety levels can be triggered. Within Pebbles Pod, DAP products produced by ADAPTIL are used in the van to reassure our clients that their welfare is placed first at everything that we do.
