Eyes-When inspecting this area, we are looking for clear, bright eyes with quick response that present no symptoms of possible infection, allergy or something more severe. 

Ears-When inspecting this area, we are carefully examining the structure of the ear for any indication of swelling or red patches which may indicate an underlying issue. We are also smelling the ears for any atypical odours that may present possible infections. 

Nose-When inspecting this area, we analyse the nasal passage to ensure no open sores are present along with any cracked appearances or persistent colour changes. 

Mouth & Teeth-When inspecting this area, we are checking for strong pink gums with oxygen rich blood returning after gentle pressure applied to the gumline. Excessively decayed teeth, foreign substances and dull colours could indicate underlying diseases. 

Pads-When inspecting this area, we are making sure no open wounds are visible or clearly showing evidence of persistent infection. Cracked pads are not necessarily a sign of serious issues. This can be caused by rough terrain or diet fluctuations.

Nails-When inspecting this area, we observe nail health by ensuring they do not curl back from their natural growth line and may cause serious issues. Nails can be a sensitive area for many dogs so we choose the best cause of action for the overall welfare and experience of each client.

Skin & Coat-When inspecting this area, we check all areas of the body for lumps, bumps, rough patches, rashes, matting or any odd symptoms of poor health that may be causing issues. Any serious findings may be recommended to be seen by a vet.

Hygiene Areas-When inspecting this area, we analyse hygiene spots for any matting, poor odours, swollen or irritated skin.

The Pebbles Puppy Package is broken down into three initial sessions where our client will be gently introduced to multiple stimuli and routines to build up their confidence and familiarity in the styling environment.

Session one:

An introduction to the van, styling table, equipment and most importantly the stylist.

We will also inspect nail length and complete a nail trim if required.

It is crucial to build a postive relationship with the puppy in order for a healthy styling experience where the long term benefit will be your puppy successfuly acclimatised to multiple stimuli and routines.

Session two:

This session involves a gentle bath in one of our luxury shampoos along with continued positive reinforcment to the blaster and stand dryer to produce a fresh coat.

Dependent on the coat type, we will also give a full brush through and mini tidy up to keep our client in handsome shape.

Session three:

Finally, this session involves being upgraded onto one of our main packages.

We will complete all steps of this package and ensure our client feels comfortable. This will involve a lot of processes being undertaken in one interval, meaning we take the full appointment time.

This package is specific to dogs who are prone to heavy shedding.
